Eye Health and Vision Exam

Experienced and Professional Care

Downtown Vision Care provides experienced and professional care for your eyes. We use a wide range of tests and procedures during an eye examination, from a simple reading of an eye chart to more investigative methods, to see inside your eyes.

It’s critical to obtain an accurate measurement of your vision so we can provide a prescription which gives you excellent vision. Our doctors take the time to ensure we get an accurate reading and provide you with personalized recommendations for vision correction options.

A comprehensive eye exam may take approximately 30 minutes, depending on the number of tests needed for a full exam of your eye health.

Regular Testing for Optimal Eye Health

We test for eye health issues including cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration.

No ‘Air Puff’ Test

We have advanced non-invasive technology to measure eye pressure for glaucoma.

Vision Changes Due to Aging

If you’re over 40, you may have noticed you are less able to focus on close-up items, such as pill bottles or books. This is a normal change in vision due to age.

Over 60?  You may be experiencing more age-related vision issues including difficulty driving at night. Talk to one of our optometrists about what you’re experiencing and ways to ensure you are safe driving.

Our doctors can provide you with solutions for these common vision problems.

Same Day Emergency Vision Care

We leave time in our appointment schedules to handle emergency visits. If we can't manage the emergency, we will refer you to the appropriate ophthalmologist.
