Dr. Sherri Norris, O.D.
Dr. Norris graduated from the Pacific University College of Optometry in 1996, and immediately joined Downtown Vision Care, becoming a partner in 1998. She has been a member of the Alberta College of Optometry Competence Committee since 2008. She served on the Alberta Association of Optometrists coucil between 1998 and 2001. Dr. Norris is co-author of the contact lens chapter of the Compendium of Therapeutics for Minor Ailments published by the Canadian Pharmacists Association.
Through more than 20 years of practicing, Dr. Norris has really enjoyed watching her patients grow, helping them get through the progressive/bifocal transition years as well as supporting and guiding them through cataract, glaucoma and macular degeneration changes. She looks forward to 20 more years of practicing optometry.
Dr. Norris loves to travel! Some of her excursions include vision care mission clinics in Malawi, Tanzania, Dominica and Mexico. She also enjoys family trips with her husband and two children.
